Why the name Dozer Basis
Dozer is inspired by the word bulldozer. Dozer jacket has been synonymous with strength since its creation.
Like a bulldozer, it is built for rough use.
“Basis” is simplicity done right. Made with the same high performance fabric and fittings as our most advanced performance fabric and fittings as our most advanced Dozer jackets. Fabric
The Taslan polyamide shell fabric is the same proven material we have trusted for more than 25 years.
Combined with our System Fabric membrane, the jacket remains 100% waterproof (HSW <10.000 mm) and breathable.

What does waterproof actually mean
10.000 mm means the fabric can hold back the pressure of 10 meters of standing water before it leaks. (1500mm is considered waterproof)
In real life it means you can work outside in bad weather all day and stay dry.

How does the shell protect you?
The Dozer Basis waterproof fabric consists of three parts:

1. Water repellency (DWR)
   A chemical treatment that makes water bead up.
   We treat the yarn before the fabric is woven.
   This creates a strong, long-lasting effect.
2. Shell. Woven fabric
   A strong Taslan woven polyamide material.
   The fabric is laminated with a breathable, waterproof membrane.
3. Membrane
   Keeps rain out while allowing moisture to escape.
   The membrane has microscopic pores: small enough to keep raindrops out, but large enough to let moisture escape.

What makes the inside so important?
Inside, the Dozer lining captures moisture as vapor and moves it out through the membrane. Mesh panels boost airflow, working like small pumps to stop damp from turning into drops (because the membrane can only move vapor, never liquid).
Put on a sweat-wicking shirt as mentioned above, and what seems complicated suddenly feels effortless.
The jacket takes over – keeping you dry, comfortable.

Integrated Carry Strap System
Dozer Basis features a built-in, stowable carry strap system designed for hands-free transport when the jacket is not breathing enough.
The carry strap can be conveniently stored in a dedicated internal pocket when not in use. (straps not included).
